It’s amazing how many people have bought a traditional urn, then relegated it to the closet, because it detracted from the ambience of their home. We have had many great comments from people who have chosen one of our cremation urns or keepsakes, who have found inspiration and comfort by integrating it into their lives as an artistic permanent memorial to their loved one. Some of our Customers’ Testimonials can be found at http://www.cremation-urns-legacy.com, and follow the Urn-Testimonials link.

Cremation urns and keepsakes that are artistic and uplifting to live with are rare. It’s the reason that in 2005 we decided to improve upon the cremation urn and keepsake offerings that are commonly available in North America, either through Funeral Homes and Cemeteries, or via the internet.
Both Richard and I have lost our mothers, and we both had the same experience – while bereaved and in emotional shock, you are expected to choose a cremation urn that befits your lost loved one, from among a selection that doesn’t necessarily completely capture their spirit. To Richard, most of the offerings were rather sterile looking, and he couldn’t relate any of the urns from the Funeral Home to his beloved mom. To me, the cremation urns I looked at were not only less than inspiring, some were even scary-looking; their shapes reminded me of mummies.
As a Designer, I decided this could be improved upon. I had also been a collector of turn of the century Tiffany-style art glass most of my adult life, and wished to incorporate the beauty of iridescent glass into the making of inspiring cremation urns. We now manufacture more than 70 cremation urns and keepsakes, sterling cremation pendants, and pet urns that are all available through our web site, http://www.cremation-urns-legacy.com, or through select Funeral Homes and Cemeteries in Canada and the United States.
I am gratified greatly by comments we’ve received from those whose grieving process was helped in some small way with the choice of a cremation urn or keepsake that was uplifting.

Cremation jewelry pendants are one of the newest methods for memorializing a loved one, and they are becoming rapidly popular. This is a very small urn made into a pendant within which a small portion of ashes may be contained. Once a pinch of ashes has been transferred into the cremation urn pendant using the small funnel that is provided, the top is then sealed in place by applying a small drop of super glue into the threads, then tightening the top into place to create a permanent seal. Funeral Planning – The Last Great Gift to Your Family
There are 3 major aspects to planning your own funeral, and any one or all are amazingly thoughtful gifts you can give to your family. The first gift is Information. There are dozens of bits of information required upon passing, and it is truly generous to gather all this info into one place so your family doesn’t have to amass it during one of the most intensely distressing moments of their life. We have a PDF Guide to Advance Planning that you can print out and record the info needed: http://www.cremation-urns-legacy.com/c-14-funeral-planning.aspx. The second aspect is Decisions. You can record your decisions about cremation versus burial, for example, and preferences about anything related to your funeral, including how expensive or inexpensive you want it to be – these details can also be recorded on the PDF GUide available on our web site. The third aspect is Funding. There are many ways to pre-fund your memorial service, and you can find several recommended services, from funeral homes to insurance companies, on our Links Resources page at http://www.cremation-urns-legacy.com/c-20-links-resources.aspx. We hope this has been a helpful outline of the ways you can spare your family undue distress, and give them one or all of these three wonderful final gifts.
